When Seizures are not Epilepsy

Trudie Lobban's daughter, Francesca, had her first seizure in 1990 at the age of 10 months. "She fell off a small rocking toy at gym class," says Francesca's mom, "and slightly bumped her head. Her eyes rolled, her arms and legs jerked, she went deathly white, and became unconscious. Upon recovery, she fell into a deep sleep. I drove to the doctor's and she woke up and was fine."
